Kelly Hopes Tebow Causes 'Turmoil' With Jets
Jim Kelly doesn't understand why the Jets brought in Tim Tebow, but the Bills legend is glad they did.
Kelly, who starred in Buffalo from 1986 to 1996, said he's wishing for "so much turmoil in training camp" that all of a sudden New York's locker room "is coming apart."
"They open with the Buffalo Bills first game of the season in the Meadowlands (MetLife Stadium), so this could be very exciting," Kelly said on the NFL Network.
Is Favre Trying To Get Back In Green Bay's Good Graces?
Brett Favre tarnished the beloved reputation he earned during 16 seasons with the Packers with multiple retirements and comebacks, including runs with the Jets and Vikings.
It doesn't appear that he can ever fully return to the status he had during the height of his career, but the quarterback may be trying to get back in Green Bay's good graces.
Michael Hunt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel notes that Favre has departed from his past stance of saying little about his successor, Aaron Rodgers.
In a recent interview on NFL Network, Favre had nothing but praise for Rodgers.
"Aaron Rodgers, I knew when I left, this guy has all the tools," Favre said. "He can beat you with his feet. He's got a great arm, extremely accurate, handles the cast around him perfect."

Urlacher: If Healthy, Bears Best In NFC North
Brian Urlacher is tired of hearing people fawn over the Packers and Lions.
"It's perfect, and just the way we like it," Urlacher told the Chicago Tribune. "If you look at what we did last year before Jay (Cutler) got hurt, we won five in a row. When Jay went down, you saw what happened after that. When we're healthy, I don't see a better team in the NFC North.
"Last year, Green Bay and Detroit were in the playoffs, so they should be talking about them. I don't know if they got any better in the offseason, but I know we got better."
Source: Tomlinson's Comments Show Why Chargers Didn't Win
LaDainian Tomlinson's recent comments about preferring a spot in the Hall of Fame to a Super Bowl ring say a lot about his career, according to a source.
"That's why the Chargers could never win the big one," the source said. "L.T. was selfish and a selfish leader. They had all the talent in the world and should have beaten the Patriots [in 2006], but they couldn't do it because they had too many guys like L.T. and he was the ringleader."
"LaDainian was a great player, but he was never a champion and he never behaved like one," the source added.
Spiller Thinks Bills Are Super Bowl Contenders
The Bills lost nine of their last 11 games last season, but C.J. Spiller is optimistic about their chances in 2012.
Buffalo hasn't made the playoffs since 1999, but the running back has his sights set higher.
"We split with New England [last year]," Spiller said. "We had the Giants on the ropes. We are close to being a Super Bowl team."
He didn't stop there.
"Every year we expect to win and make the playoffs and make a run, but we don't just want to make the playoffs, we're trying to get to the Super Bowl," Spiller said.
"Why get to the playoffs if you're not trying to win the Super Bowl? That's the ultimate and that's what we talk about is being champions. If you're not trying to be a champion as we say, 'You're in the wrong business.'"
Goodell Memo: L.A Could Get Team By 2013
Roger Goodell has laid the ground rules for NFL franchises considering relocating to Los Angeles.
A five-point memo, sent to all 32 franchises, opens the door for more than one club to move to L.A., and as early as the 2013 season.
Goodell stressed in the memo that the league's owners -- and not individual franchises -- would determine any relocation.
Pitcock: Teams Fear Video Game Addiction
Quinn Pitcock says NFL teams are afraid of him because of his addiction to video games.
He also claims that if he was into drugs or alcohol, teams wouldn't think twice.
Drafted by the Colts in 2007 out of Ohio State, the defensive lineman appeared in nine games and showed promise as a rookie. That all made his sudden retirement before the 2008 season all the more puzzling.
"It was a rash decision," he said. "As soon as I made it, I wanted to play right away, but I was scared they didn't want me back."
Pitcock, who calls himself an introvert, sunk into a daily regimen that included 18-hour sessions of Xbox online.
"The only way I could get my endorphins was by playing video games," he said. "I would break the games, try to get rid of them, but I couldn't stop. I'd say, 'Quinn, what are you doing?' Physically, I could not put down a video game."
The Colts helped connect Pitcock with a psychologist and his recovery began in earnest. He's now a member of the Arena League's Orlando Predators, but wants another shot at the NFL.
"It's more on whether a team feels they can trust what I can do," Pitcock said. "I think teams are worried I may relapse. They're more comfortable with a drug addiction. It's unfortunate. It definitely hinders my chances."
Schwartz, Lions Agree On Extension
The Lions have agreed to a contract extension with head coach Jim Schwartz, according to a report.
The contract, according to a source, is for multiple years.
Lions president Tom Lewand confirmed the extension to the Detroit Free Press.
"I'll confirm that we've agreed on a multi-year contract extension but, beyond that, we've been consistent all along that we’re not going to comment on his contract," Lewand said.
Raiders Expecting A Lot From Jack Crawford
The Raiders are expecting production from defensive end Jack Crawford, who they drafted in the fifth round of April's NFL Draft.
"He's big, athletic, runs really well," coach Dennis Allen said.
"And he's had some production, and so again we look for versatility in guys and we try to find roles for specific guys and I think as you look at him, as we get a chance to work with him, I think we're going to be able to define a pretty good role for him."
